The old way

Four quiet leaks.

Every wholesaler who sells on credit knows them.

  • The cheque drawer

Forty post-dated cheques in a drawer. Which are due this week? Which have you already banked?

    chq 204119 · 315,000 · yesterday in 2 days · banked?

Every date lives in your head.

    How Stride closes it
  • The sale that should have stopped

The goods left on Monday. That order took the customer over their limit.

    Lotus Lane · bal 800,000 · order 285,000 · ok

    Now you’re lending, not selling.

    How Stride closes it
  • The six-invoice cheque

One cheque pays six invoices. Someone splits it by hand, after closing.

    chq 600,000 → 98,000 + 112,500 + 67,000 76,000 …

    Mistakes hide in the arithmetic.

    How Stride closes it
  • The pairs you promised

You promised 100 pairs of Runner 204 to a good customer. Then someone sold them to another.

01 · Get paid

A cheque diary that never forgets a date.

Every cheque has a date, a status and a story. Stride keeps all three. A post-dated cheque stays pending until its day, and nobody can clear it early. If the date changes, the reason sits beside the old date. If the bank returns it, the invoice owes the money again, with the return charge on record. Bounced by mistake? Restore it. The history stays, marked Edited.

02 · Promise stock

Say yes with confidence.

Every size. Every colour. Every pair.

Sixteen lines become one grid.

Hill Country Footwear wants 100 pairs across eight sizes in two colours. Line by line, that’s sixteen lines to type. In Stride it’s one grid, filled the way you already think: style, colour, size. Every cell shows the pairs you can still promise, and a past order repeats in one tap.

Not in footwear? Sizes and colours become whatever your trade uses.

Promised means promised.

Pairs held for one customer stay held. What you can promise is what’s on the shelf, minus what’s already promised. Selling held stock needs your OK and a reason. Stock is counted in whole pairs, whether you sell one pair or a thousand.

Plain answers.

Can I see it before I decide?

Yes. Ask for a walkthrough and we’ll set up your own sample workspace, filled with sample data and kept completely apart from any real business’s records.

Does it need the internet?

No. On your PC, Stride works without internet. On your phone, it keeps working offline and catches up when you’re back online, so your phone and your PC show the same records.

I keep everything in Excel. Do I start again?

No. Bring products, sizes, customers, suppliers, opening stock and balances from Excel or CSV. Stride checks every row first and imports nothing until it’s all right.

Can my staff use it without seeing my costs?

Yes. Staff can sell, deliver and collect. Costs, margins, suppliers, purchases and the books stay with you.

Will my staff and I find it easy to learn?

Stride uses the words you already use: cheques, pairs, statements, price lists. Ask for a walkthrough and we’ll show you around your own sample workspace, where you and your staff can try every step before anything real goes in. Screens come in Sinhala, Tamil and English, and help is built in along the way.

Will my accountant be happy?

Every sale, payment and correction posts a balanced entry, exact to the cent, and nothing is silently edited. Lists export to CSV, and journals export for common accounting packages. If you’re VAT-registered, switch on tax invoices; your accountant can confirm what you need.

Who is Stride for?

Wholesalers and distributors who sell on credit. Footwear and apparel first, and any trade with cheques, part deliveries and price lists.

What happens when I ask for early access?

We reply on WhatsApp or email, show you around Stride and answer your questions, including pricing. Nothing is decided until you say yes.
